Act V Summary

*The plains of Philippi: Brutus and Cassius arrive argue with Antony, Octavius, etc.
*Brutus insists that he will never return to Rome as a prisoner.
*Cassius knows that he will be captured by Antony and Octavius, and will certainly be dragged through the streets of Rome in chains. He orders Pindarus to help him commit suicide.
*Titinius takes Cassius' sword and kills himself.
*When Brutus realizes he has lost he asks 3 friends to kill him but they refuse. He convinces Strato to do it.
*Antony and Octavius find Brutus' body. Antony, knowing that Brutus was a valiant defender of Rome, delivers a tribute befitting so honest a man.
