2. Give an answer
2. Give an example from the text citing page/line # when possible (or real-life if called for)
3. Explain--how does your example show your answer is correct?
4. Make sure you answer ALL parts of the question.

Example:
1. How would you describe Unoka? Explain your answer.

Answer:
Unoka would be described as a lazy and unsuccessful type of person. We know this because we hear he had a lot of debts and doesn't try too hard to do anything. On page 5, the narrator calls him a "failure." Also, it is stated that when he died he had "no title at all" (8).
